Here’s a bit of what we’ve been up to…
1.  We celebrated Pi Day with crafts, activities and foods.  I know it’s been a few days but I never shared the pictures so I wanted to put some up.

2.  We started logging our books for the 100 books a month challenge.  Here’s page [...]

Victoria just came and announced that pi was used to figure out the width of an enormous tree, which I pointed out showed that there really was a good use for math sometimes.    She was talking about this article, which is about the oldest trees in the world.  Some of the photos are [...]

We’ve done some fun things the past few days.  Here’s a bit of it!

I just wanted to share a few of the sketches she’s done in the last few days.

This is a [...]

The verdict:
Alex– sinus infection
Anna– swimmer’s ear, upper respiratory infection
Victoria– double ear infection, sinus infection
I’ve been sick too, but I’m too cheap (I mean frugal!) to get an appointment [...]

The Betsy-Tacy Society had a conference last week and asked if the girls would be willing to run a lemonade stand for their attendees.  The girls said yes, and happily donned some old fashioned outfits to play the part.
I even joined in, looking very silly in a dress my mother made (for herself) years and [...]
