I had an especially bad migraine today and got very little done.  I did manage to write up an article about the conference the girls went to yesterday and also finally wrote up the electric griddle craft I mentioned last week.
Oh yes, and an article about the rest of the story with the recent sling [...]

The good:
My kids are all taking turns on their backs under my dining room table, coloring their own version of the Sistine Chapel in honor of Michelangelo’s birthday.   Even Alex got in on it and triumphantly stuck his art to the fridge. I put more fun stuff here if you want to get in [...]

1.  Today (March 4) is Grammar Day (also here).  In honor of that, you must try Grammar Ninja!  It’s so fun!  Also try these grammar quizzes for points.
2.  We bought a new fridge today.  I’m so happy.  Our old fridge is insanely awful.  The doors don’t shut all the way and we have to keep [...]

I am almost certain that [...]

Sickies

Anna is on day two of being sick.  I’m on day one and falling fast.  My elderberries have not arrived yet for me to mix up elderberry syrup to help fight this thing so I may send Daryl to Worthington tomorrow to just buy some Sambucol.
Ug.  I’ll keep you posted.  Send healthy thoughts!

I am pretty sure that I am the very last person in the house awake.  This is big news at 12:33 a.m. because we’re a family of night owls.  This also means that I should get to sleep myself ASAP because I am generally sleep deprived and only a fool would be up surfing the [...]

Okay, so yesterday I showed you a pic of a mystery beastie we encountered at Boxcar Days and asked you if it was a llama or an alpaca.  Here he is, to save you from having to scroll.

The reason I asked was a sneaky one.  You see, when I was standing at the pen I [...]
