We’re off to Mankato again, this time for a homeschool picnic, an overnight visit with the in-laws and then a Betsy Tacy historic reenactment walk tomorrow. The girls are going to get to be old fashioned children playing in the schoolyard! It should be a fun trip.

We’re attending a Victorian lawn party at Tacy’s house from the Betsy-Tacy book series today.
Daryl is a volunteer for the Betsy-Tacy society and he has created reader theater plays, scanned books, made coloring pages and more for them. We have visited Tacy’s house several times before for various events and it is always fun.

We spent yesterday running errands and buying too many scrapbook/lapbook/altered book supplies, so today will be a nice day home. Victoria and I stayed up till midnight working on her latest lapbook so she got a late start this morning!

I'm a frazzled AP mom to 4 fabulous kids in rural Minnesota. Homeschooling here tends to be child-led and focused on fun. We do lots of crafts, reading and exploring. I'm madly in love with my brilliant, goofy lug of a husband and I don't get nearly enough sleep.
