We’ve done some fun things the past few days.  Here’s a bit of it!
1.  We celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with Seuss lesson plans, a silly indoor dress-up parade, a reader’s theater Seuss script, books, funny clothes and more.  I even made a chocolate cake (this time made better despite the absence of dairy or wheat [...]

Sheep School

We’re in a bit of a sheepish mood here lately, with all this Shaun the Sheep business.  I posted a link to a fun Shaun site the other day and Daryl has found even more.  I’ve been putting Shaun stuff up over at the Magical Childhood blog too, and now Daryl sent me this fun [...]

Build a Better Mousetrap

All I can say is wow.  Check out this Rube Goldberg contraption that spans multiple levels of a house.  Careful — who knows what the kids will dream up after seeing it.

Here’s 15 pics of our mini-vacation in Mankato last week…

I’m too tired to tell the stories that went with them, so you’ll have to make up your own.  Trust me, they were good ones.
