Victoria happily brought this poem up to show me last night. Thought I’d share it here (the original was very multi-colored too). 
Summer
I wake up. It’s today!
Summer’s here! Hip hooray!
Summer means lots of fun!
Swimming under the summer sun!
Splash in the pool! Catch that ball!
Roller skate! Don’t fall!
Be happy! Have a blast!
Do it all! Before summer’s past!
