Plans for the day
May 25th, 2008 by Alicia
We’re planning to get together with another HS family at a nearby state park today. There’s a lot to explore and some fun places there, so it should be a nice day. The weather is a bit surly right now so hopefully it won’t storm!
Other plans for the day…
- Working on the gardens with the kids some more
- Reading a story from Shakespeare for Kids
- Doing more block tower art (Anna and I decorated big cardboard blocks last night)
- Math workbook pages for the girls
- Torn paper art outside
- Try to watch “Duma” with the kids so we can mail it back
- Find a good place for our ever-increasing pile of lapbooks to live
- Read to Alex
- Read to Jack
- Read Pollyanna to Anna
- Brainstorm about fun new American history ideas
No way will I get all of that done (we’ll probably spend much of the day on the beach!) but I get more done if I at least pretend. ;) Have a great day!
I just wanted to share an idea that a friend had with lapbooks. She punched holes in them and then put them in a 3-ring binder. She doesn’t fear losing them or getting them destroyed anymore.
I hope that you had a great day at the beach. We are waiting for ds to get his cast off before going to the beach..I cannot wait.
