Baby pics!

Just had to share a few pics of Alex from this past week and a little update. He is 11 1/2 months old and I’m not ready for him to turn a year old! He started tentatively walking this month and can take 6 or so steps before falling down. He loves to stand and bounce to music. His one and only word is still cat (dat!), though he likes to shout Da da da da! at the top of his lungs. 
He still only has two teeth (both on the bottom) and doesn’t much care for any foods besides mama milk and whole wheat toast, though he can make a heck of a mess out of a banana! He is goofy and happy and we absolutely adore him.
Here’s some pictures of Alex at a park last weekend. It was a warm but windy day, hence the hat and coat and bare feet!

I found your blog a little while ago and have been lurking and reading since then. Missed this post somehow and had to comment. My kids are near the same ages as yours (mine are almost-11, 8.5, 5.5, and 12.5 mos). My baby turned one at the beginning of April and I was really not ready for it either. He’s likely to be our last and unlike yours seems determined to grow up as quickly as possible, deciding to stop nursing at about 11 and a half months much to my sadness. Not walking yet, though. Love your pics - Alex is adorable…
I’ve also been reading with interest your experiments with structured scheduling and your daughter’s interest in going that route. I’m trying to figure out how to keep all the varied personalities in my house happy too. I have one (my oldest) who is more like Victoria and another who would just go where the wind takes her if given the choice. Makes for an interesting life!
Anyway, just wanted to stop in and let you know that I’ve been enjoying your blog!
