A Midsummer Night’s Dream

I just read AMND from “Shakespeare’s Stories for Young Readers” and the kids really enjoyed it. We love this book that retells Shakespeare’s plays in short, easily understood stories.
Afterwards I pulled out our real book of Shakespeare’s works and read quite a bit of it aloud so the kids could hear the original language. I’d read a passage and then we’d translate it.
Victoria also got out another children’s book based on AMND and the kids are reading that one to compare it to the Dover version and the original.
They also asked Daddy to write up a short kid version of the play for them to put on, since he’s so good at that. I’ll put it online if anybody else is interested.
I am! Then again I’m interested in the square root of -25! (5 i!) (the i stands for imaginary)
Yeah, I’m that kind of kid!
